Q: What kind of organization is Parrot Garden Sanctuary?
A: We are a not for profit sanctuary for animals and get our funding from AA Education Network & the Parrot Garden Cafe.
Q: How many visits does my ticket allow me into Parrot Garden?
A: Tickets are valid for one entry into Parrot Garden. The Parrot Garden membership gives you unlimited entries for 12 months.
Q: Is it a guided tour?
A: Yes. Parrot Garden is a guided attraction.
Q: Until what age can children join the tour for free?
A: 3s and under enter Parrot Garden Zoo free of charge.
Q: Can children do the tour without supervision?
A: No children under the age of 16 will be able to visit our zoo unless they are accompanied by an adult. Children must remain under the control and supervision of an adult at all times.
Q: Can I eat something at Parrot Garden?
A: Yes, Parrot Garden Cafe is open to paying guests and members of the public visiting Crystal Creek.
Q: Can I smoke at the premises of Parrot Garden?
A: No. We need to be mindful of the health of our guests and animals at all times.
Q: Can my children bring balloons on the premises ?
A: No. We need to be mindful of the safety of our animals at all times.
Q: Can I bring my dog on the premises?
A: Yes, but this is restricted to a special area in our Outdoor set up of the Parrot Garden Cafe. As long you dog is small and can sit quietly under your table in the outdoor are of the cafe.
Q: I want to work with animals? How can I apply?
A: Please check the following pages: zoo jobs & volunteer positions!
Q: Can I work as volunteer just for just one day?
A: No. All volunteer need to participate in a short training program and sign our volunteer agreement. We do not take volunteers for less than 2 weeks.
