Apply for volunteering at Parrot Cafe
Dear applicants!
We really appreciate your help. Are you aware that parrot cafe is not open yet for the public? Well it’s because there is so much work to do and every support here will go towards opening the cafe and the more helpers we get, the quicker we will be able to get the project off the ground
About our Non-profit campaign
All the proceeds from the cafe go to charity so rest assured every cent raised at Parrot Cafe will do a lot of good.
Fundraising with Parrot Cafe
All of the proceeds from the cafe will go towards the animals! The aim is to raise money to open the Parrot Garden Sanctuary that will provide a home for homeless, abused or unwanted parrots and other animals, and a safe haven for people who love animals, to come in and have tea, coffee and refreshments whilst being surrounded by beautiful relaxing gardens and animals.
Who can participate?
We urgently need funding for our animal projects (through the cafe), but do require reliable helpers with hospitality skills. Please let us know how often you would be available and on which days.
We like to open the Parrot Cafe soon and need helpers to get started.
You need to be able to help us with:
- cleaning
- refurbishing
- planning
- cooking & baking
Who wants to volunteer at Parrot Garden Cafe in Crystal Creek and share our goals? We work for a cause – all the profit will be used for rescue parrots.
We have different options for you to support us.
Baker & Cook
The purpose of opening the cafe is to fund the cost of our rescue animals. If you are interested to share this goals with us, please check the following requirements:
- You have worked in a cafe or a restaurant before
- Practical knowledge in customer service skills
- A couple of years’ working knowledge in food preparation
- Working knowledge on how to use a cash register
- Own a vehicle
- Capable of working in set shifts on both weekends and weekdays
- Interested in preparing organic and vegetarian healthy meals for kids and adults
- Creativity to create raw dishes too: salads, juices, fruit smoothies, fruit fruit popsicles …
- Creativity to keep kids entertained.
